Opening sequences (which have informed your ideas)
Trailer analysis
Title ideas
Casting decisions and auditions
Recce photos and decided locations
Production logs - blogging the process
and anything else you wish to log - ideas, photos, clips etc
Remember the more creative your presentation of these elements the better!
The Art of The Title Sequence
Friday 29.1.10 Homework - Due a week today

You will need to go out and recce as a group to find suitable possible locations for your thrillers
You need to identify at least 3 locations and post photos on your group blog and reasons why you think they are suitable
You also need to start holding casting sessions for your main characters
You may either film and post auditions or take and post photos
You need to make a decision on your antagonist and protagonist by next Friday
We will peer assess your location and casting choices next lesson
You will also be pitching your treatments at the beginning of Wednesday's lesson, so be prepared to present!
Your pitches need to be ready for Ms Khan's lesson on Tuesday

Thriller Research
Post three thriller opening sequences that you think are good in some way
Write a short analysis for each on how they create meaning and what is successful about them - can you offer any improvements?
Post 3 font styles you may consider for your own production
Write what each connotes, why you like them and how you think they would help represent your thriller genre
Don't forget all this research needs to be posted on your THRILLER BLOG and will count towards your planning marks
